A lack of exercise is another culprit of the obesity epidemic, as only around 5% of all people are getting up and exercising for even just a mere half of an hour out of the day. And less than half of all adults are getting the weekly recommended amount of exercise. Among children, this problem is also significant, with only about one third of children getting the daily amount of movement and activity that they are in need of to grow up healthy. Instead, the average child will now spend as many as seven and a half hours simply using electronic devices, from TVs to computers to tablets and even phones.
